1983 – 2008

It’s a shocking news, to all of us. Her loud n cheery voice still lingers in my head, i still cant believe that she’s gone just like that. We use to werk in macdonald together, yah making burgers, doing fries. All that is now just memories. To her husband,be strong, I pray hard for u that u will be able to overcome all this ‘ujian’. And to her family, sorry about the lost of a daughter/sister. We all miss her.

I’m tired of those telling me i’m fat. Even my mom is telling me tat. Not to mention him….my god!! Don’t u ppl think that i know that already. U dun haf to keep saying how big my butt is, how huge my spare tyre is, how enormous my breast are. Firstly, do u guys think that u look any better?? Shut up n take a mirror man!! Is everything really about being slim n beautiful. Well since i haf been humiliated that much and challenged that much, fine, i’ll prove to u ppl how determined this fat pig is about losing weight. So that in the end of the day, u ppl get to eat ure words. Just watch…

MAn….2 weeks is sure not enuf for a tired, exhausted, burn out missy. i need more than 2 weeks definately. coz just thinking of gng back to werk tml really wanna make me cry.

But anyway, i think i enjoyed my raya week fully compared to those who had to werk the next day. hehe…so wat am i fretting about rite. Here’s a summary of my raya week…

Day before Hari Raya

Woke up early morning, drove my mom to geylang wet market for last minute shopping. It’s a good thing we went in the morning coz by 12pm, the place was packed wif last minute shoppers. At the same time, was searching a baju kurung for my mom. From geylang market, she didnt find anything that she like, we went to Tanjong Katong Complex, but she still didnt find anything that she like, so we went back to the wet market. Finally she bought something…n we went straight home. The time is already 2pm. After sending her home, rushed straight to Kelly’s Hairsalon to rebond my hair (which should haf been done weeks ago, all thanks to procrastination). REached home at 8pm, had a quick shower n its back to cleaning the house n more cooking in the kitchen. Yah that’s how riot my day was on the eve of raya. Me my bro rearranged the sofa’s n the carpet for like 5 times that nite. MAn!!! can u believe it….

Day 1: Selamat Hari Raya

Woke up early…couldnt really sleep. Excited?? maybe….heard clanging of pots in the kitchen. ok, i guess mom is starting the ‘ritual’ soon. After shower, helped my mom in the kitchen while my dad n brothers got ready to go the mosque for prayers. Then around 12, we went to our grandma house. The first one to arrive…always….Usually after that, we we will go to my aunty’s house, but this time, we decided to haf a change in our yearly routined schedule. We went to johor, back to our kampong n did a couple of visitings to our close relatives. Gave them all a lil’ surprise actually…oh well, it’s just once a year rite.

Day 4

Didnt do much for the pass 2 days. Just watching tv at home, my dad n brothers haf to go back to werk. Todae, we got ready early morning again. My cuzzin back n johor is etting enganged. Woohoo!! Wat an exciting day. Everyone’s gonna be there. I gotta say, the ceremony there is so much simpler compared to here.  Here we spent thousands of dollars i guess, but there..hmmm…lets just say it’s simple. And i like it. Simple yet ‘meriah’. My cuzzinz frm KL came down too on that day, which made the whole day even more ‘kecoh’. haha..i really do like it there. Spent the nite there n came back to s’pore the next day.

Day 9

It was back to watching more tv for the past few days. But todae, is another exciting day!! It’s raya-ing wif my polymates. Last year, we rented a van but this year we gt 3 cars!! wohoo!! it was cool man. Although a couple of the guys couldnt join us n there were not mnay houses we went visiting to, but i think we still enjoyed the day. My house was first, and as usual, there’s always latecomers. THanks for the cake susu. it was nice. Then we went to elias’s place (poor boy had to go o werk that nite). Next was HArah’s, then Amin’s(played wif rabbits there) n last was Aisyah’s. Thanks aisyah for inviting us to ure open house. Wishing u all the best wif ure Herbal Life. Made a quick stop to sya’s place coz our dear hidayah wans to beraya at her place this year.

Day 11

Another raya outing wif my frens. This time wif my BSS mates. Well, the number of ppl seems to b shrinking each yr n it’s always the same faces for the pass few years, but i’m glad they still planned this out eventhough they knoe that it’s the same old us who will be joining. Although it was just a quick visiting, i still enjoyed it. A pity i had to rushed off to a frens party after that, if not, at least we could slack for a while n do a lil catching up. Well, next time then.
