Class Outing at Han River
Finally we are having a class outing that quite a no. of ppl actually turn up. If not, usually it always end up as a “group” outing. I should haf booked for 30 seats rather 22. I thought that a few of them might last min back out, but in the end, more ppl turn up..bringing along MORE ppl. Man…that was the most “squeez-iest” diner i ever had. They couldnt give us another table coz they were all reserved so in the end, we had to squeeze 30 ppl on a 22 ppl table. So guys, i’m so sorry that u guys couldnt really enjoy ure dinner that much.
But i haf to give credits to the Han River employees. Their service was excellent. They went through all the trouble of setting up a portable table n stove next to our table just so that some of us could move over. And better still, eventhough we kinda last min turn up with more ppl, not single word of complain or unhappiness from any of them. Man…if only whole s’pore erves that kind of service.
Ok, so apart from the squeezy sittings, i think most of them actually enjoyed themselves. Me?? hmm…not really, coz i was too pre-occupied wondering whether the rest are comfortable or not. Kinda feel guilty. I would love to go back there again, but this time, with smaller grp so that i can enjoy my dinner instead of worrying.
Oh yah..btw, in case u guys didnt knoe(those ppl who went for the dinner)….the price went waaaaaaayyyyy over bored. We were short of $100 so i had to pull it out frm my own pocket first. So if u guys are reading this, dun be surprise when skool re-opens, we might be collecting a few extra buck to top it up. it was the drinks guys…they were just so expensive.
